Parents! This year’s main fundraiser, Boosterthon, is almost here! It’s a 9-day program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on Tuesday, September 27th. Then families will have time to get pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on Thursday, October 6th. With our big goal to raise funds for classroom libraries and new technology, we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it more profitable, easier, and fun.

Students will also experience an amazing character theme, BACKYARD BOX OFFICE! It’s a movie theme all about making a difference by getting into character. Our students will learn from five REAL kid difference-makers. From inventors, to world-class speakers, to business owners, to world-record holders, these five kids will inspire our students to practice the five “Character Acts” and make a difference in our community.

Please help our school by reaching out to sponsors. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run! Thank you for your support!

Let’s start REFLECTING!

It’s that time of year again when students should be preparing their Reflections entries! This year’s theme is “What is Your Story?” Students can create a work of art in the following categories; Dance, Music Composition, Literature, Visual Arts, Photography, Film Production, and Special Artist. Students may enter as many categories as many times as they like.

Entry forms and rules for each category can be found at, Students must complete an entry form for each entry they turn in.

So let’s get your creative juices flowing as we also celebrate National Arts in Education week! Deadline for entries are Tues. October 11 and Wed. October 12. Entries will be collected before and after school in the cafeteria. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact Joy Anderson or Sarah Markwell at your paragraph here.
