The new volunteer system, called Raptor, is now operational for Greenville County schools.  If you intend to chaperone in any capacity this year, you will need to have a valid approval in the system.  If you received Level II approval last year, it should still be valid for this school year.

The system is new and there may be issues so please be patient as the Oakview staff gets you up and running.

All Volunteers should fall into 1 of 3 basic categories:

  1.   Brand New Volunteer
    1.   Navigate to https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/MzE6ZW4tVVM= and complete the Volunteer Application Form.
    2.   Enter your information on the second page
    3.   On the 3rd page, select the schools where you intend to volunteer
    4.   On the 4th page, select Field Trip Chaperone (Vol II) at a minimum and any others that may apply.  There will be a criminal background check on all Level II volunteers that will be good for 3 years.
    5. Complete the remaining pages.  It will take up to 2 weeks to process the application.  Make sure to bookmark your login information from your confirmation email.
  2.   Level II approved last year - Your Level II status carried over from last year, but you will need to log into the new Raptor system to      confirm.
    1. Navigate to https://apps.raptortech.com/Volunteer/Login/MzE6Vm9sdW50ZWVyOmVuLVVT
    2. Click on Forgot Password, enter the email address you used to create your application last year and then click on Send Reset Email.
    3. Check your email for instructions on how-to reset your password and access the system.
    4. To Login after your password has been reset, your Username = email address.
    5. Please update any incorrect information on your profile and confirm your Level II status in the “Functions” field.
  3. You believe that you were Level II approved last year, but do not see that in the new system.
    1. Reach out to the front office to figure out where you are in the system.  If you created an application last year, it might be stuck in limbo so just be patient and know that the Oakview staff will work as diligently as they can to get your Status updated.
