Calling all MENTORS! Oakview is looking for volunteers interested in being a social/emotional mentor. This commitment would be 30 minutes per week during breakfast or lunch. This mentoring does not involve any academics and is only about making positive connections with a student. Once you complete the form (linked here), one of the school counselors (Kathy Taylor or Adriane Rabren) will email you with the link to Mentor Upstate. You will have a virtual training with Mentor Upstate and will complete a background check. Once training is completed and a background check has been done, you will be contacted by one of the school counselors.
